What to expect when you volunteer

Excited for a day filled with warmth, laughter and a lot of fun? We have plenty of different things you can do to help. Sign up here, pick a spot and you’ll receive confirmation along with instructions. The Event Director will reach out to you before the race to provide all necessary information and address any questions you may have.

We truly value any time you can dedicate to us, whether it’s a few hours or the entire morning. Your support, no matter the duration, significantly impacts both the event and our efforts to fund life-saving cancer research. Please inform the race director of your availability and we’ll ensure the role fits your schedule. Volunteers are needed for setup and teardown, so don’t fret if you can’t stay until noon.

Of course you can! Please do not register online. Instead, you’ll need to complete a paper form and have it signed by a parent or guardian. You can do this by emailing [email protected] Please include your name, age and which area you want to volunteer at. If you are under 16 you will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian on the day.

Before the race, you’ll get a briefing and learn about your role. On the day, each volunteer team has a manager to guide you, answer questions, and support you.
